Original Comment: We have to check whether the $(MAKEFLAGS) variable is necessary. If not, delete it because "make clean" in the root directory is stopping due to a strange expansion of this variable into "w". |

I looked it up in the gmake 3.80 manual. I mixed it up with MFLAGS. Both is unnecessary for modern implementations of make as the posix standard says, so I removed the MAKEFLAGS. Sorry for taking so long. |
