This is the ninth maintenance release of the openvas-manager 6.0 module for the Open Vulnerability Assessment System release 8 (OpenVAS-8). This release adds the new 'SCP' and 'SNMP' alert methods and addresses a number of issues discovered after the release of OpenVAS Manager 6.0.8. It also incorporates several improvements from the development branch of OpenVAS. Please see below for a comprehensive list of changes. Main changes compared to 6.0.8: * Support for the new 'SCP' alert method has been added. * Support for the new 'SNMP' alert method has been added. * The documentation of the OMP protocol has been updated. * Handling of report deltas has been improved. * Handling of filtered host counts has been improved. * An issue which caused long OSP scans to terminate prematurely has been fixed. * Pagination handling has been improved. * Handling of unknown severities has been improved. * Handling of long inputs from the scanner has been improved. * Clones of predefined report formats are now implicitly trusted. * Handling of dependant resources in GET command responses has been improved. * Support for filtering for orphaned permissions has been added. * Log messages have been improved to include the resource name wherever possible. * Log messages for internal error cases have been improved. * The process title of processes handling scans will now contain the report UUID. * An issue which cause an unfinished task with a schedule to be restarted on the second period instead of being resumed has been fixed. * Resuming of scheduled slave scans has been improved. * An issue which cause the NVT selection of an imported scan config to be empty under certain circumstances has been fixed. * Handling of failed slave connections has been improved. * An issue which caused users to appear multiple times in an observer list under certain circumstances has been fixed. * Handling of empty credentials has been improved. * Handling of targets belonging to another user has been improved. * An issue which caused unrelated error messages to be shown when creating new tasks under certain circumstances has been fixed. * An issue which cause the alive check setting to revert to its default value when cloning targets has been fixed. * Handling of internal database backups has been improved. * Results used in alerts are now sorted by severity. * The 'Anonymous_XML' report format now strips even more potentially sensitive information. * Signal handling has been improved.
