You could try emailing intevation@intevation.de from the email account you registered with. I don’t know if that is the recommended method, but I too couldn’t find any information on how to remove an account from WALD.

an even better email to contact is the one
you get when following “Wald Admin” from the mainpage
to https://wald.intevation.org/users/admin/ and then press on the number.
