Hmm, this sounds like a broken hkp keyserver import to me. I tried it and I successfully imported my own key. Please use "subkeys.pgp.net" as your default keyserver. This should fix the problem.

Can't verify WinPT signature [ Reply ]

I've downloaded new version of WinPT (1.0.1) and new version of GnuPG (1.4.5).

WinPT is signed by a key with ID 0x27F36D14 (Timo Schulz). I've downloaded this key from http://keyserver.veridis.com:11371/ and tried to import it to WinPT - I recevied a message that "Key without a self signature was detected! (This key is NOT usable for encryption, etc).

And the key was not added into my key manager. I've several other keys with the same "feature". How could I verify files signed by such keys? How could I verify WinPT distributive?
