If your own debugging won't lead to the source, maybe you can give me a more detailled step-by-step guide and maybe also the data you used (plus the test key pairs).

Same problem with gpg reinstall and 0.12.0 - is a pitty ... .

If there is something that I can still do to debug, just tell me.

Cheers, Oliver

Well yes, I can reinstall the pgp and winpt duo and try it again.

Apart from that I don't know what could be so different. The gpg.conf is the vanilla one, so as far as I remember nearly everything is commented.

I don't know the WinPT dev environment, but perhaps it's possible to catch some exception and print a stacktrace from within c++, when it happens (perhaps some bad or null pointer) ?

Or is there perhaps a free debugger, low effort to install, which I can hook up to WinPT to get more debug info ?

The thing is I can't build my self, since I don't have the tool chain. Otherwise I would try to trace it down myself.

I also don't mind to try special debug versions that you might create, if you feel like.

Cheers, Oliver

I've to admit that I was not able to reproduce your reported problem with 0.12.0. Maybe you could test it again with the new release?
(If it still crashes, I guess that something is different in your environment so please also summarize your config and maybe options in the gpg.conf file).

Thanks as well - that would be great.

Are there plans for a next release containing the fix (~when) ?

Cheers, Oliver

Hi,

WinPT crashes reproduceably on my system doing following action:

Start) Dir with 3 orig and 3 gpg encrypted files
1) Start WinPT
2) Open FileManager (FM)
3) Drag-Drop 3 encrypted files into FM
4) Selection all 3 files
5) Right-mouse click / Decrypt
6) "Replace existing file" Pop-up, Answer 'Yes'
7) Enter passphrase dialog: Enter wrong pass.
8) "Bad passphrase" pop-up: Answer 'OK'
9) "Replace existing file" Pop-up, Answer 'Yes'
10) Crash - Windows crash reporter window appears

Voila - hope to contribute to fix a bug!

Cheers, Oliver
