I'm getting this identical error but when I rename/remove the folders the error isn't resolved. Any other ideas? |

I had the same problem exactly! On my w2k machine I went to c:/Document and settings/userprofile name/application data. I renamed both the WinPT and gnupg folders. Ran WinPT which recreated those folders. Problem fixed but you do have to recreate all your keys again. |

This sounds like a problem with gpg settings. Please check your homedir, and that you have write permissions. Plus that the gpg.exe is still at the place where the install copied it. |

I just installed the program and everything seemed very promising. I tried importing the public and private keys I had generated on my web server, but they never showed up in the list of keys. Then when I tried to have WinPT create its own key, it registered an error, so I decided to reinstall. Now when I try to access the application at all I get a dialog box titled "Key Cache" with the text "Internal Error" and the program does not load. I have tried numerous installs/reinstalls, even cleaning out the registry, and I still get the error. |
