Settings->Configure Kleopatra->Crypto Operations->File Operations Check the box next to "Create open PGP encrypted files with ".pgp" file extensions instead of ".gpg" Hit "apply", then "okay". Cheers, Sean C. |

It should not make a difference. They decrypt the same way just decrypt the .gpg file. If you have an automated routine looking for *.pgp you will have to change it to look for *.gpg |
Kleopatra switch from GPG to PGP Encryption [ Reply ] By: Ivan Rodriguez on 2016-02-12 16:22 | [forum:4294] |
Hi, I recently installed gpg4win and Kleopatra on a new workstation. Whenever I try to encrypt a file it encrypts into a .gpg file and I need it to be a .pgp I have been unable to find where to do this in the settings. anyone know how this can be done? |
