Component:
WCS

Summary:
WCS output is shifted

Detailed description
When requesting a coverage using the resX= &resY= parameters the resulting coverage is shifted compared to the original source. The shift seems to be depending on the requested resolution, but I haven't found the exact correlation

If however width and height are used the data isn't shifted. For a full report please read http://blog.minst.net/2009/12/09/perceived-wcs-inaccuracy

This issue was first brought up in the OSGeo discuss mailing list in this thread:

http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/discuss/2009-December/006442.html

also concerning GeoServer and MapServer, to different degrees.
