I just enroll today on gforge, my name is Pedro Camilo Alcantara Concepcion. When registering I got an error_bug on the length of my name. At the top of the page was this message:

This issue has been fixed during one of the previous updates. (I just tested with 77 characters: 35 in the first name + 41 in the last name + 1 space)

This is indeed an annoying restriction of the GForge database schema. I reported this problem upstream, please refer to:
